Meet The Team

Dr. Sparaga has trained with some of the world’s most prominent Sedation Dental Specialists. He is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and has been recognized by the Maine Dental Association with inclusion on its Honor Wall.

He is known as Machias’ leading dentist for people who want to relax through their dental treatment.

After receiving a degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University, Dr. Jones followed in the footsteps of both his Father and Grandfather attending the University of Oklahoma-College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, specializing in general and restorative dentistry for all ages. Due to their love for the outdoors and the coast of Maine, Dr. Jones and his wife, Hannah, chose to move their family to downeast Maine following his graduation. Dr. Jones has now been a member of the Machias Dental team since 2022.

Dr. Jones and Hannah expanded their growing family two years ago by welcoming a baby girl, Grier, who now runs the household. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time outside, hiking, and exploring different places and restaurants all across Maine. Dr. Jones looks forward to meeting you and continuing to serve the community of Machias with the highest quality of dentistry for years to come.

Kathleen is our Practice Administrator. She attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC and received a Certificiate of Oral Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh. She entered the dental field in 1974 and has been with Machias Dental since 1979.
